How To Bid

Introduction

Bidding online works very much like bidding in a physical auction room, but with the convenience of taking part from your phone, tablet or computer. If you’re new to online auctions, this guide will walk you through the process step by step. We’ve broken everything down into simple, easy-to-follow sections so you know exactly how to register, bid and complete your purchase with confidence.

  1. Bidding

  2. Auto bidding

  3. Tracking your own bidding history

  4. Have I won?

  5. Finding lots

  6. Feature Auctions

One key feature of our platform is real-time bidding. You don’t need to refresh the page — the system automatically updates every few seconds to show the latest bids as they happen. Your winning or losing status will adjust instantly, so you always know exactly where you stand as other bidders place their offers.

Bidding

The most important part of any auction is the bidding. Our platform runs as a forward auction, meaning each lot starts at an opening price set by the auctioneer, and bidders place offers in increments above the current bid. When the auction ends, the highest bid wins.

Before you can bid, you’ll need to register. This allows us to verify your details and confirm that you accept our terms and conditions. Once your registration is approved, you’re ready to take part.

You can bid in two ways:

1 Click the Bid button to place the next available increment, then press Confirm to submit your bid.

2 Enter a higher amount manually if you wish to bid above the current increment. As long as your amount is equal to or above the minimum required increment, you can press Bid and then Confirm to place it.

Once submitted, your bid appears instantly on the system, and all users will see the updated current bid in real time.

Auto Bidding

If you prefer, you can use the auto-bid feature. This allows you to set the maximum amount you’re willing to pay for a lot. The system will then place bids on your behalf using the smallest possible increments, keeping you in the lead until your maximum limit is reached.

Auto-bidding is ideal if you want to set your highest price in advance and let the system do the work for you — simply set it and wait to see if the lot is secured within your limit.

Tracking your own bidding history

If you want to focus only on the lots you’re bidding on, use the History section. This lets you track your selected items in one place and see instantly whether you’re winning or losing. The History page updates in real time as bids are placed, helping you stay on top of the lots that matter to you.

Have I won?

When the auction ends, you can check the History page to see your results. Each finished lot will now show either “won” in green or “lost” in red above the bidding panel, replacing the previous live indicators. This gives you a clear, instant summary of the items you were interested in.

Finding Lots

Finding the lots you’re interested in is easy, and you can do it in several ways depending on your preference.

Search – Use the search bar located below the main menu. Simply enter keywords related to the item you’re looking for and click Search. If you want to narrow your results further, you can select a specific category from the drop-down menu next to the search box. This helps you filter items quickly and find exactly what you’re looking for.
